Spatial Spices is a container of open scores designed for movers, somatic explorers,
body-mind practitioners, supermarket cashiers, activists and dreamers as a way to enhance
creative inspiration and build up resilience in times of crisis.
Each volume is tailored to bring the listener to a different somatic state through the
combination of rhythmic, melodic and textural elements, the spices indeed.

The three tracks in Vol.0 represent the first step towards the development of a score deck which will grow as each new volume will be released.  This is an open source project, generative and community-oriented. If you wish to collaborate in the development of scores for future releases, you are welcome to contact me.

This project does not just come out of my interest for improvisation and for the interaction between somatics, dance and music: it is also a way to cope with the powerlessness affecting me and many of us in regards to the war in the Middle East.

Spatial Spices Vol.0 was recorded live at Phynix Tanz Studios in Berlin on a Friday in 2024.
